Tip Top Alignment Trick

After wrapping and finishing your running guides, a simple way to align your tip-top is by placing the top section of the rod in your wrapping supports, making sure that the running guides are hanging directly down. Apply your glue to the tip of the rod or into the tip-top tube, then push your tip-top on and fully home before hanging a weight off the tip-top. I’ve used a paper clip with an 8mm nut, common items we have around the home. Leave in place until the glue has fully cured and then finish with the decorative wrap.
